Students Share their Stories of Changed Lives through Southwest Florida Men’s Campus
“After being saved by Jesus Christ, I once again have found hope for my life and through Teen Challenge, the Lord has given me a second chance at a life worth living. Now my future looks brighter than ever.”
“In Teen Challenge, I have learned to accept the freedom that Jesus offers, to break free from my bondage of sin. I now embrace that I am a new creation in Christ, and I look to the future to find His will for my life!”
“I was lost, finding my identity in how other people viewed me. Now, through my time in Teen Challenge, getting to know Jesus, I have found my identity in Christ as a child of God set apart for His purpose!”
What’s Been Happening at Southwest Florida Men’s Ministry?
Let us introduce to you the new Executive Directors of Teen Challenge-Fort Myers, Pastor Will and Mary Kitchen!
Will and Mary Kitchen joined us with their three boys, Liam, Judson and Micah, to steward the ministry in Fort Myers. We couldn’t be more excited to add this family to our excellent team of leaders in the Southeast Region. Will and Mary have served Teen Challenge since 2006, first in intern positions at Long Island Teen Challenge and then as program directors at Teen Challenge in Brooklyn. Will is a graduate of Central Bible College and holds two master’s degrees from Regent University in Practical Theology and Clinical Mental Health Counseling. He is also a licensed minister and has a heart for worship and leading others in worship. Each one of these abilities will be a tremendous asset to the work Will and May will do in Fort Myers.
"NO WARRANTY" LEGAL NOTICE: While independent outcomes studies have shown very high recovery rates for indiviuals in our programs, we cannot guarantee recovery for any particular individual. Recovery and future abstinence from addicting substances and the effects that such substances may have on the individual or their life, actions, or their future are entirely dependent on the individual and how well they apply the principles we have taught them. We are an educational institution, and how the individual in our program learns from what they are taught and modeled here, is totally up to them. Individuals who stay the full term (until graduation) have much better long-term recovery from addicitons than those who do not.
